Dr. Gordon is a Senior Fellow with the GeoEconomic Institute (GEI) with extensive experience in data and labor analytics. He focuses on the creation and delivery of the GEI solution suite. Dr Gordon delivers comprehensive location-based descriptive and predictive models to evaluate location strategies that support clients’ business case requirements. He is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality with experience in industrial and quality engineering, data analytics, lean six-sigma, ISO Quality Standards, and the Malcolm Baldrige organizational performance excellence model.
Dr. Gordon has a broad background in manufacturing, business analysis. the military, state government, and higher education. Manufacturing experience includes electronic connector manufacturing, military vehicle assembly, high speed metal stamping, and plastic molding. Early in his career, he worked on international manufacturing site selection projects for a large international company. His military career began with active duty in the U.S. Army as a specialist in Computer Technology and Automatic Message Switching systems. He retired from the PA Army National Guard as a Command Sergeant Major in the Military Intelligence career field with over 20-years of service. While with the PA Department of Transportation, he served as a senior consultant on a wide range of continuous improvement projects and as the first Quality Assurance Manager at the ISO 9001 and 17025 accredited Construction Materials Testing Laboratory. More recently, Dr. Gordon was a past adjunct faculty member at Elizabethtown College teach industrial engineering and supply-chain analytics in both the Engineering and Business Departments.
